Looks like prime BBQing, Tom!

Don't recognize the location. Must be in SW quarter of lease.

That hog sure blends in with the dirt! Probably because he's covered in dirt!

Well, I was sitting in the wrong blind Friday evening.
My friend Steve sat by his feeder and killed all of these hogs at about 6:30PM. Rifle was a Stevens 270 Win, 130 grain sp's
125 yds, 135 yds, 150 yds and 200 yds.
We've learned to go to the stand with a full magazine.
All I saw was a big buck, ( no pics) Oh well, its not deer season yet anyway
Nice shooting Steve.
(I taught him everything he knows! HA)

Did the big buck get your neck swelling too, Tom? :D

Congrats to Steve for culling some of your pasture rooter-uppers.

Hey there Ken,
Yea, he did. He was about 18" inside, 8 points, and a big heavy thick deer and rack. Too early to get pictures. The weather sure was nice. First time I got to sleep in the bag instead of on top of it.
See you around-

We have been shooting the heck out of the doves up here this season. They are about all gone now though, headed for warmer country. Pheasant season will open shortly, and then Big Game rifle season will open. I truly love this time of year.

Usually, the back yard is full of white wings and mourning doves. A couple weeks ago (right after season opened) like magic, not a single white wing was out there pecking at the seed the wife throws out. They migrate down to Mexico this time of year and the mourning doves plus the Aztec doves stay year 'round.

Tom, you need to find a customer up in NW Oklahoma/SW Kansas that need mud pumps - lots of pheasants out in that country!

Yea, I know.
Last year we had a hunt set up around Guymon Oklahoma. I understood there were a lot of pheasant, but at the last minute, I couldn't go. I'm still kicking myself because now it is leased up.

I would like to do one pheasant hunt and one goose hunt every year. Maybe I ought to quit chasing those white tail around

Go Cowboys!
