My Rossi Puma [Model number 67 in Australia] is chambered for .38/357. I'm searching for information on what peep rear sight will fit this rifle. Lyman and Williams both have peep sights listed for many different lever action rifles, but Rossi Puma is never mentioned. As I will be ordering the sight from USA and paying handling fees, international post etc etc, I really want to order the correct sight first time around. I'm hoping to hear from anyone with a Rossi Puma .38/.357 who has fitted peep sights [not tang sights though] to their rifles with advice/comments/reviews of their sights. Thanks

You might try Williams Gunsight Company. However if you install a peep sight please be aware that you'll most likely need a higher front sight. Williams also makes sights (firesights) that would be excellent for your Rossi Puma.

Patrick,
just order the Williams peep sight for the Win. '94.
Most of my Lever action's have Williams peep sights fitted. If you want to make constant sight setting changes for target shooting, buy a Lyman as they are easier to change settings, but of course more expensive.
Any gunshop can order them in. I bought a few through the Queensland Gun Exchange. They arn't that expensive; Model 5D-94's go for about $55 locally.

Kirby.

It sounds like it's getting harder and harder to deal with US suppliers over the internet these days, so buying locally makes a lot of sense. It's curious that the US, having armed its enemies with high-tech weaponry for decades, are now cracking down so hard on sporting shooters wanting to buy peep sights, isn't it?
