I have a few sets along with a Wells press. Its all I use, they have special shell holders but you can get a adapter for modern shell holders. I think my father bought it in the 50's

The Wells presses and dies were "very much like" the Herters Presses and dies. Wells may have made them for Herters.

Wells also wrote one of the best basic reloading handbooks ever written. Townsend Whelen's "Why Not Load Your Own" and Fred Wells "Beginners Guide to Handloading" are clearly written and very descriptive examples of how to "paint with words."

"Wells may have made them for Herters."

They did make some of Herter's dies. Okay stuff really. I mean, making dies ain't rocket science and making quality dies is not nearly as difficult as some folk seem to think.
