Anyone built this? I need a new bench for my new shop. Really thinking about it.
Any thoughts. Seems nicer than the one it is replacing the old one is just a giant 4x8 table.:)

That looks pretty cool, I'd leave the doors out though... I'm a fan of being able to see what I've got and not having a bunch of stuff fall out when I open a door.

Wow that is nice. I didn't think I needed a new reloading bench until now. I agree with Mattsbox though no doors

Basically, the NRMA design is fine.

I think the top is too short, make it as long as you have room for but if you do widen it put a set of legs under the center as well. There is no structural reason for the legs to be 4x4, 2x4 legs are plenty strong.

Doors are indeed good, they help keep dust off your shelf contents. I can't imagine cramming stuff in the shelves so it could tumble out when you open them! I even have doors on my shelves under the bench.

If your wood working skills are up to it, make a couple of wide, shallow drawers under the bench top (not more than maybe 3 1/2" deep or stuff will get lost in there), great for storing small tools.

I'm with you, Matt...leave the doors off....well, a guy could put full-size fold out doors on it to be able to lock it up ....with all your paperwork tacked to them perhaps ? ....

I have a big bookshelf next to my bench, for my load manuals and storage of powder and primers for easy access. It works well for me. I probably have 30 or more manuals, so there is no way its all going to fit on my reloading bench.
