I bought some mixed used brass for my 454 Casull and found some head stamped CBC. I weighed it and it is 5-6 grs heavier than Win and about 8 gr heavier than Starline. I was wondering if this would hold up to full house loads better than the Win brass.:D:

CBC is the headstamp found on Magtech brass. Seems to work fine.
Interesting note about the difference in weight. Thicker brass can help tolerate (a little) higher pressures. However, I would be more concerned about the reduced capacity. Eight grains of brass has roughly the same volume as one grain of water. Using the same charge, maximum loads could go over pressure, but probably not enough to be worried about. In a rifle, that much difference in weight would translate to a measurable difference in velocity and point of impact.

I have reloaded a lot of 9mm and .45 ACP CBC brass and it worked fine. All the best...

Have loaded .45 Colt with CBC brass, although not to max, and it has worked out fine also. Notwithstanding, I am inclined not to load foreign-made brass too hot. YMMV and prove me wrong.

I've loaded a bunch of it, in .38 Special and .357 Magnum, its been pretty good brass.

Seems OK to me, been using some in .44 Mag. I purchased it new from MidSouth I believe. Reloaded twice in heavy magnum 265 gr. loads. Still looks/mikes good.

Brazilian CBC seems to be equal to most American brass. The CBC plant (like the Mexican Aquila) was originally built and operated by Remington. They gave up their interest in both a good many years ago.
