Last week I tried changing my email address, followed the activate email and now I can't post from either address. Emails to admin either come back undeliverable or are not answered at all. I finally had to use a 3rd email address and re-register to get to this point. I've followed all standard advice - clearing history etc. etc. rebooting etc. The same problem happens from my laptop and nothing was wrong before I tried to make this change so it sounds like a forum glitch to me. How can I get in touch with an admin person to solve this problem?

Be patient, if you can wait a bit.

MikeG, our Moderator Administrator will be along soon and may be able to help you out. The owner of the board and Chief Administrator is awfully busy at this time making those fine Beartooth cast bullets and has little time to answer emails.

I've been waiting patiently for a week now with no hint of human activity. I can understand busy but this has always been a quality forum and this kind of non response just detracts from that quality. But I'll be happy to wait and hopefully someone will actually be able to help.

I don't know where the 'contact admin' emails go. They sure don't go to me.

What forum logins were you previously using?

I've been using mcg6637 as my login name with a AOL email address for several years now. When I tried to change to a gmail address and followed all the links in the activate email the only thing that happened is that I now get a msg that I don't have the proper permission to post. It's obviously not a software/hardware glitch on this end since I tried on a remote computer with no luck and I was able to register under a different name and email. Everything says as a last resort to write to "admin@shootersforum.com" so I assume there is a tech savy someone that can remedy this problem.

Well apparently the "live human" corrected the error. I'm posting this reply from my original email address - so- MikeG is now on my Xmas card list. Thanks, Mike
