I saw a Browning Model 71 at a gun shop yesterday for $750.00 but I cant remember if its the carbine or rifle model. Is it worth it? I can see most of the ones on the gun auction websites are around $1100.00. Any other info would help. Thanks

If the gun is any kind of good condition, I would say that is a good price. I paid $800 for mine in new condition, unfired, several years ago and felt it was an excellent deal.
