I don't think going from a 2008 design to a 199? design is an upgrade. The priming system on the pro is junk; do yourself a big favor; box it up and return it, them buy the Cast iron turret press. You will be much happier...........

I had a Pro 1000 for a couple years and never "liked" it. When it worked it was ok, but it was rarely good. The time saved by the press operating was used up by the constant tinkering. The frustration factor was way too high, I mean this is a hobby, it should be enjoyable right ?
Not wanting to get bit again, I waited until I was able to operate a friends classic/cast turret.
I have had my Lee Classic Cast 4 hole turret for a year now and love it. The the Pro Autodisk works well and even the flimsy plastic priming system works well. The setup might not be as fast as a full progressive but is much faster than a single stage. I whole heartedly recommend this press to anyone looking for a good deal that works as advertised.
