Thought you might like to see my favorite "spot" and my favorite deer rifle. It is a Marlin 336 in .35 remington caliber. I shoot a handloaded 200gr core-lokt that deer just do not like.

Nice deer, nice rifle, and nice photos. Thanks a lot for sharing them. One of these days maybe I'll get a shot when I'm carrying my .35 Marlin. I've shot them with everything else, but Marlins have been my jinx.

I've never owned a 35 remington calibered rifle.

Oh i'd love to have one but one never came my way at the right time.

If I were ever to purchase an Encore it would be calibered in 35 remington I can gaurantee you that.
