You might try calling Beretta parts -
800-636-3420
A good place to start - if Sako stocks them they will sell you one direct.

You may want to try Gun Parts Corp or search through some of the auction sites like GunsAmerica and the like. You can also post your needs on some of the other online forums, you might find someone who's got one. Since the rifle was out of production well before Beretta bought Sako, I doubt that they would have them but I guess it's worth a try. You might also do an internet search on Sako magazines. Good luck... CEJ

I doubt you'll find any deals. Even clips for the new ones are outrageous. I've seen some for the 75's on ebay and gunbroker. Maybe you could find one for your Finnwolf there.

I've owned this particular rifle for years now and have not been able to find one either.
I've tried Sako, Stoeger Ind. (Importer), Gunshows, Internet, etc.
Mine is in .308 also. Good Luck. I'm sure if you find one there will not be a campanion.

Noted postings looking for a clip for a sako finwolf 308.
I had the same problem and my local gun shop took a Winchester clip that looks exactly like the finwolf clip and with little effort filed the locking side of the clip off. They took about 1/16 of an inch off to make the lock fit.. They had to lower the area where the lock fits and did some grinding on the top of that part of the clip. The Winchester clip fits perfectly. Cost $45.00 plus 7% PA tax.

I have the same problem finding a clip... is yours the old style clip with the flat bottom? if so... do you have any problems with the model 88 clip? i will definetely try this. Any pictures or additional information about the modifications would be greatly appreciated

Hello
I've had a similar problem finding a spare clip for my finnwolf. After doing some serious investigation found some info that maybe of some benefit to everyone.
There are 2 different styles. One a 3 shot older style that fits flush with the receiver and the 2nd a 4 shot that protrudes and was found on much later models. They are not interchangeable, unless perhaps you had work done to it by someone competent. I do know that if you have the newer 4 shot clip there are some available here in Canada for 150.00
I did find a clip manufacturer who will make them but only in quantity. They required one for replication which scared me off. I never investigated further for details on the size of the order or cost but it could be an option if there was enough people interested.
As far as finding a rifle keep a close eye on Guns America or Gunbroker or the Sako Collector site. I've seen numerous rifles for sale there in the last year.
If enough people are interested I will contact the manufacturer and see what kind of price and quantity they would need for an order. Not sure how we'll deal with it from there but I'm sure someone will have an idea.

mkaleu did you need the old style (flat bottom) or new style clip for your finnwolf? Did you use a 3 or 4 round winchester clip?
Mine is the flat bottom style.
Kuntao, could you give me the name/location of the clip manufacturer?
thanks

I talked to a gentleman at Checkmate industries that apparently do a lot of work for the U.S military. After discussing the situation further I realised he was not into manufacturing twenty or thirty mags as retooling cost around 30k. I also tried other custom rifle clip manufactures but none were interested in small orders.
Perhaps your best bet at this time is to remodel an 88 clip. A good smith should have no trouble. Anyone out there interested???
