Hello,
I have a Winchester Model 64 with a serial number 1721576. I'm trying to find out some information on this rifle, such as a manufaturing date. I also have heard a story about this rifle having a copyright problem and being discontinued so it was made in limited quantities. If any of you have any information or know where I could get some information, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks

Tntr11, If I am reading my book correctly your Model 64 was produced in 1950. A total of 66,783 were made from the years 1933 to 1957. These are considered the origionals. They made another 8,250 from 1972 to 1973, I believe these had A designation after the #64.All this information comes from the WINCHESTER book, dates of manufacture.
