After I built my house on this lovely view, I found out it was known to the locals oldtimers as "Copperhead Hill".
Well around 20 years ago, I loaded up a couple boxes of #9 shot ammo for my old ruger 357 which worked quite well. *
Unfortunately *there were more copper heads than shells in the long run. *However I can't find the little shot holder cups I used back then anywhere now. *They were a simple plastic cup with a retainer disk to hold the shot in. *The cup assembly was inserted with the retainer wad first into the shell, then a tight crimp to keep the cups from moving on firing. *
Does anyone know where I can buy these cups. *I have been reduced to buying ready made shotshells for my 357, and also for a model 29 44 Mag. *Thats OK but It gripes me to pay nearly a buck per copperhead!
