I have used a Holosight on my 8 3/8" barrel, .44 mag. S&W Model 29 for a number of years and really like it. I had SSK mount it on their TSOB mount. They requested I send the Holosight along with the revolver, indicating that, at least at that time, the Holosights could vary slightly (canter) and a custom fit was preferred. I've never had any quality problems and I find the Holosight vey easy to alaign and use. I particularly like the 1 mil. dot since at 100 yds. the amount of target it covers is minimal, yet nice and bright.
