Andy I reckon you'd better get over here & we'll do some fox bashing ,Roo eradication & see what is to be done about getting you a couple of Goats! Most of which will be done with my faithfull driver in the comfort of the Estate vehicle pitcured above (you want the front seat or the hole in the roof in the back?)
As for who cleaned the stinkers ? well the offer is there for anyone with no sense of smell to go up & clean em up from where they dropped! Teir just a pest around here & make fantastic Fox bait for us to make some financial return out of
Dave

I believe I may take you up on that offer, mate!
Now, to choose my seat in the estate vehicle......
Do you still have the bar fridge and satellite TV in the back??

Its even more Flash since I added the sunroof in the back ! A determined man & a angle grinder can do amazing things to a car
Tracey came out to see what the noise was & wandered back inside just shaking her head muttering something some thing about "boys & their toys " & Growing up !!!!
Oh course you can choose your own seat ! Or piece of bonnet ,Roof ,or Boot space !
I found today that with determination (to say nothing of a Pot rivit gun & tec screws ) Its possible to fit headlights out of a Mini into a Fairlane! Strike me Pink 2 headlights again !!! We're getting Proper Flash now
Dave

I like to think of it as a unfinnished project ! You take something off/cut/bash /or it just falls off by its self & you add to it as it is needed or you think that it would be a good idea !
Mind you I'm looking at buying a New works 4x4 at the moment .That will under go certain modiforcations but not to the extent of the Poor Old Fairlane

What sort of 4WD is that, Dave?
Thought you sold the Cruiser 'cause you didn't need a 4x4 anymore.
Mind you I'm going to have to update if my wife realises her dream of having offspring #3.
We'd probably get an 80 Series Cruiser.
My brother's best mate is a Toyota guru and is doing his diesel mechanic's ticket so he'd find a good one for us, probably around the $20,000 to $30,000 mark.
Better than the current model which STARTS at $65,000.

I'm going to Start looking a Suzukis as Though the Quack has said Thout shall not work as a PH anymore I can't see the harm in Foxes & Dingos if I take it easy ! My last Cruiser was a 80s Series Tray top & when I sold her she was due for replacement anyway! I very quietly lifted of the Roo Rack & replaced the origanal Tray . I don't think they were ever really designed to carry 1.2-2 tonne ! Let alone suffer the places I used to shoot
I'm wondering if the new owner has found that one of the welsh plugs was replaced with a piece of mulga ?
I just can't help myself .As much as I hate the industry I just can't get it out of my system ! I keep running into guys still in the Trade & getting embroiled in the inhouse arguements (Plus I hate working for a Boss)
Dave

Those little Suzuki Sierra utes( pickups for you Americans) were really popular when we were living in Orange NSW.
Because they're so small they were cheap on fuel, at least compared to a standard 4x4, and because their overall mass is small they bounced over mud holes that a Land Cruiser or Nissan Patrol would just sink in.
In Orange there was even a Suzuki specialist who bought up the utes and rebuilt them to sell to customers.
They were a very desirable little unit.
Still are in fact.

Most Of the Stations I used to Shoot (& will again soon but for differant game ) had the little devils as run abouts & I've always been impressed with them ! I knew a couple of rabbit shooters years ago that swore by theirs ! Oh course up till now they were totaly impractical for my use ,but now I reckon it will be the Ant's pants. As I normaly skin or scalp at the site of the kill & so there fore am only carring skins.Plus I've promised Tracey that I won't be sleeping out in the weather from now on (I'll bunk in the Shearers quarters, as I wont be travelling that far a field anymore & the offer has always been there from Owners & managers)
