Selling a book of this type is difficult. The book is desirable to a very limited group of collectors. The title has been reprinted several times, even in paperback. This causes the casual reader to purchase the lower priced, later editions.
The customer you or the used book dealer who buys your book is looking for will already have one or more copies of this book on his shelf, he now wants a Very Good or better condition collectors copy of the first or at least an early edition of the book.
The average used book will spend more than a year on the seller’s shelf. This fact causes the offered price to be considerably lower than what is hoped to be the final selling price.
I am waffling on giving you a price because what I would buy this book for is considerably less than what I would attempt to sell it for. If you attempt to sell the book yourself, stick to your asking price and be patient. Also, make certain you have graded the book correctly, if you are paying a premium price you expect the book to meet or exceed the stated condition. Packing the book when you ship it is critical. We have had one good rainstorm this year. A book I ordered from a book dealer sat out overnight in the rain and was undamaged because of good packing.

Go do searches on Alibris.com. They specialize in that stuff.

I found my copy there and I think it was around 220$ but it was in used condition.

In today’s market, a good first edition would probably attract a dealers buy offer of between $150.00 and $175.00 as I judge the market.
A first edition of Fast and Fancy Revolver Shooting in Fine condition is difficult to find. If graded correctly it is a valuable and desirable book.
I like ABE and Alibris and have bought quite a few books through both systems. Discretionary money is becoming tight for us “middle class” types but people with money still have it and they are the collector market for a first edition in Fine condition.
It is difficult to sell a collector example of a common book without access to a want list. This is where specialist dealers like Callahan and Company or Taylors in Detroit have the advantage over us.
If he is wanting to sell I will enjoy watching the process as it will be an indicator of todays market. If I had one book of this type I would consign it to a book dealer. If I have 25 or 30, I would invest time into setting up an account to sell them myself.
