Modern Exterior Ballistics is about to be re-printed!

Sorry if I'm the last one to know, but thought perhaps some here would be interested. The 2nd Edition is going to be printed later this month. Amazon has it available for 'pre-order' here:
Amazon.com: Modern Exterior Ballistics (9780764338250): Robert L. McCoy: Books

Glad it's back in print. It's really almost worth the price just for the history and photos of shock waves at different Mach numbers. You need to have your calculus polished up for a good bit of the rest of it.

I'm distinctly unhappy with the state of my mathematical recollections right now anyway, so picking up the calculus book (yep; still have one. It was holding up one corner of the bed for a while) wouldn't be a bad idea at all!

Don't be silly...physics was holding up one corner of the bed! Calculus is what was used to determine the load-bearing capability of the book.

Got it. That book is still sitting in the "to be read" pile.

Nice...

You know I like math, even if I _never_ get to use it.
