Bullet lube too soft

I have been making my own home made bullet lube for a few years. It always works good, but the last batch I made is too soft and runny. Is there anything that will harden it up?

Don't know your recipe, but usually adding paraffin will tend to firm one up.

I don't remember my recipe either. I've tried several, but I'll try adding more paraphene or beeswax. I am quite certain that I used beeswax. Do you have a special recipe yopu favor?

Not really. I've largely gone over to the liquid Alox approach and running bullets through the Lee sizers. Too much quicker and easier.

I have played with casting tubes for my RCBS lubrisizer in the past, but since I was mainly running light target loads, pretty much any combination of wax and oil seemed to work. Some were just smokier than others.

You could also look at harder waxes like they sell for jewelry making to use as a hardener.

Thanks, you confirmed what I finally figured out a few weeks ago. Now I just need time to do it.
