Short, memorized, prayers are useful. During the day, is good to say a special prayer, here and there. Refreshes the spirit, turns us from temptations and distractions. Thought I’d share two. What prayers do you use?

This is a line from a prayer for the last day of a Sacred Heart Novena. I find it useful as a short “stand alone” prayer.

I am Yours, Lord – yesterday, today, forever. I am Yours.

Hi silvertipmo, you are right on with that. I try to carry on conversations with the Lord just as I do with my best friend here on earth. My wife knows that she is number 2 in my life as I am number 2 in her life. I think it makes us try harder?
