Easter do we really know what it means?

Hi people, I am just sitting hear thinking about the passion play our church put on last night.
I do not think we can fathom how much God loves us to send down his son to pay for what we have done and still do. I know that I could not do the same. I was thinking could I send either one of my boys to their death for someone else sins NO.
It is so simple but I could not do it and he did it because he loves us. I know that is the truth and I thank him for it constantly.
The best news is that in 3 days he rose again and is now seated at the right hand of our father.
Remember he gave us internal life because of that perfect LOVE.

I am not sure that this makes any sense as it is hard to put into words my love for my family and that is all our Lord wants to do is love us.

Happy Easter sir! Today, Good Friday, is especially poignant for me. The cruelty and pain and death on my behalf is humbling and devastating, yet it also fills me with gratitude for the Father.

Your post makes perfect sense to me!

It makes perfect sence. A perfect savior shed his perfect blood, because of his perfect love for us. Then arose from the grave to defeat death once and for all. All we have to do is put our faith and trust in Jesus, to accept his perfect gift, Eternal Life. Happy Easter!
