We knew Christmas was going to be tough this year as my grandmother is using hospice and could literally pass any minute. Yesterday we found out my wife's oldest sister was killed in a car wreck on her way to church. She was a super nice lady who always put others first. So on Christmas day I'll likely be headed north to be with my family and possibly attending my grandmother's services and my wife will be heading south to attend her sister's funeral. While all of this stuff is going on everyone in my house has the flu and has been trying to stay away so we didn't get the rest of the entire family sick. Please pray for comfort for both families and for safety as we travel. It's going to be a difficult Christmas this year.

Thanks everyone. My grandmother passed away less than an hour after I made the original post. We appreciate your prayers. She is definitely in Heaven with our Lord. My grandfather passed away in 1984 and she has been heartbroken since. She is finally back with him. God is good.
