Thank you, kind sir! That is a wealth of info!! Sorta neat to know that mine was built between July and August of 1918...almost a "hunerd years ago"!! I always wonder stuff about old rifles like these....like, who owned this gun? Where has it been? Has it actually been used in battle and taken a life. If only they could talk.......what stories they'd have to tell!
