GEAR LIST:

Mandatory: carbine rifle w/ tactical sling, +200 rounds ammuntion, +3 high capacity magazines, tactical vest or duty belt w/ at least two mag pouches/carriers, shooting glasses (shaded preferred) and hearing protection.

Optional: shooting gloves, knee/elbow pads, camelbak hydration pack. For those of you who "practice like you play" you're more than welcome to bring kit. You may run a sidearm, however, it will not be used in this course. (We'll be using them in follow on courses).

*Any of the above items can be provided upon request for an additional fee. Let us know ASAP by contacting Ryan Smith - [email protected]

Carbine must be clean, operational and in good working condition. If you haven't sent a couple hundred rounds through your carbine in its current configuration we recommend you do so before game day. We will zero rifles during the course and our max range is 100 yds. Optics are fine that are geared to close range shooting - EOTech, Aimpoint, etc. Get in touch with Ryan if you've got questions/concerns.

*NO RELOADED AMMO* We also suggest brass v.s. steel cased ammo. It runs smoother provided the rates of fire we employ during this course. We will provide ammunition on request.

Wear rugged clothing and footwear. We will get dirty. Long sleeve shirt, a hat you can shoot in, shaded eye protection, sunblock. This course is active and we recommend hydrating well before range day.

Bring food and water to last the day. We will break for lunch. Pack fruits, nuts, fruit juice, gatorade to replenish electrolytes throughout the day. By day's end we'll have steaks on the grill and provide all shooters with a Warrior's Dinner! - BYOB.
