PFC RJ Jr and I were looking at Dad's slides he took when he was a guiding for George Moore in the Bob Marshall back in the early 50's into the mid 60's and I found a few you might want to see.

I only got to go with them once when I was 16. That would have been in 1975. I'd listened to the stories and seen the pictures enough by then that it was like I'd been there a hundred times.

Hunting was such a big part of Dad's and my life together, it's hard to put into words. Sharing it with others is always a pleasure.

Great photos RJ. That looks like a fine camp location, and setup. Good grief, they're eating some type of pie!!

Hey, that outfit was first class all the way. Dad even packed in ice cream one year. It was in Coleman coolers and covered with dry ice. Made the 30 some mile trip in record time, the ice cream still frozen AND won a $10 bet to boot!! Mom had apple pies waiting, knowing Dad would make good on his promise.

Mom was the camp cook for a couple years until us youngun's came along. Nobody ever left her table hungry.

I don't know who the cook is in that picture. I'll have to ask the feller eating the pie, he'll know.
