Has or does anyone watch this? I watch and csnt believe the price get for some of the guns he sales. I mean he sold Reagon Smith a nascar driver 7 gun and he wanted $28,000 for them YIKES. 3 of the guns were a marlin 30-30,mossberg 12g shotgun and a 375hh with iron sights i think. Also brought out a sniper rirfle a pistol and 2 other guns but dont know what they were.

But $28g for them he's on freaking crack. I dont think there was $12,000 in gun that he brought out to show. I dont know just seems like he way over priced on his stuff and maybe its just for tv. But sons of guns doesnt seem that high on some of the stuff they build but maybe im wrong.

Yeah, I don't understand some of these shows and what they do. His daughter is supposed to be a teenager and yet I always see her running around with a pistol on her hip. I thought the gun laws were federal and the same for all states. Wouldn't she have to be 21 to carry in public, buy, and even take the CCL course ? How much he charges for some of the stuff is amazing as well !

You have to be 21 to buy new but you can buy from a private sale at 18. It's a stupid bit of paper shuffling, but that's the way it is.

Just last night they charged a guy $1,500 for a M&P 45 with zebra stripes and a trigger job...highway robbery.

Yes their prices are high, but Paige is one hot 18yr old gunslinger. I'm wondering what a Paige Wyatt calender would sell for. LOL.

It was $800 for the pistol,$800 for the paint job and $100 for a trigger job. then he suckered that kids dad to pay $18,000 for that winchester copy..WTx.

I watched 1 episode of American Guns and I couldn't take anymore. Just like Sons of Guns (also on Discovery) they're going to turn it into a reality show. But if someone likes the show American Guns then fine by me, I guess that's what makes this a free country.

At least with Son of Guns when they build an AR15 their not asking $20g's for it. They also have some smart guys in his shop. How many guy can fab parts for WWII MG42 and it work properly? And there building some cooler **** on Sons of guns also.

EDIT: Take a week off from the forum zorak. In that time, try to figure out how to make posts that don't end up with *** in your posts.

I love watching this show haven't seen it on in a while hope it comes back on TV

I'm actually disapointed in the show. It is so staged, and poorly written it almost makes me want to puke.

They charge outragous prices for some of their work. The preform work that they should out and out refuse to do. I am thinking of the show where they attached two Walther PPKs to the front of some guys "Spy Car"

Think about it. Just because someone has more dollars than sense. Do you really want to be doing such a thing? I'm guessing that having the guns mounted on the car on public roasd would be questionable, if not criminal. But they did it anyway. I would have been far more impressed if they had explained to the overgrown adolescent why they would not do such a thing.

Then there is my question. Why does everything have to blow-up? do you do such a lousy job that you have to make sure no one sees the inaccuracy of your workmanship?

And what about the episode where someone brought in an 1896 Springfield Krag rifle in original condition, and they runined it by sporterizing it! Another instant where they should have declined the work.

Don't do shows where you trade an AR and some gold for a Weatherby. Give me a show where you take an old mis-matched K-98 action and turn out a work of art in steel and wood.

I watched it one time, never again, what a waste of time............. Paige is hot though.

The quality of the gunsmithing leaves alot to be desired, the smiths often seem incompetent. I wish I could get 1/4 of what they do for gun sales.
