I'm still here.

Just wanted to say I am still around. Things have been different. I hope to be back in the loop soon. All is well, just different priorities. Good shooting!

We spent a lot of time on the road last year, and many places couldn't get internet, so we opted for WIFII this year. By the way, it seem that some of the older folks [kdub & DOK] haven't been reading the other parts of the forum, because I have been posting there some.

I don't know about that, it seems like DOK has been doing pretty good on the old folks jokes all by himself from what I've seen, except some have been re-writes.

Michael, that one made me chuckle But how am I expected to remember a medical doctor's name if it's "DeVine".......that can't, or at least, shouldn't be a doctor's name!

Good to hear from you old folks, and new. I have been busy messing with pocket knives. I have not done a lot of shooting and my handloading has fallen way behind. As soon as I can get back to loading some ammo, I will be back full force with the shooters forum. Actually, I was hoping to start doing somepocket knife trading and repair for a self supporting hobby but it looks like that may be a pipe dream. I did learn a lot about folding knives though. And collecting them is a lot cheaper than collecting firearms. Also looking at semi-retirement in the near future, if there is any such thing in this economy. That takes up a lot of computer time.

Well, good luck with whatever endeavor you settle on - just be sure to stop in as often as you can, Chief.

"semi-retirement"- is that when you quit your old full time job and start 2 new full time jobs, but are only paid for a quarter of the work?

No that;s when you quit your 40 hour a week full time job, and get a part time job doing 50-60 hours a week for 1/4 th the pay, and your wife has an additional 20 hours a week of honey-do's to add to the mix, and the Motorhome takes up the rest of your time.
