Hi, Does anyone out there have any info on how to adjust a stock trigger on a weatherby vanguard?...guasti61

1. Make sure rifle is unloaded.
2. Loosen lock nut on the front adjusting screw.
3. To increase weight of full pull turn screw clockwise to decrease weight turn screw counter clockwise.
4. When finished tighten lock screw.

This was taken right out of the Vanguard manual. Weatherby warns against making sear adjustments. The sear adjustment is the screw on the back.

Go slow on the adjustment , if you back off the screw too much the safety will lock up and not work . There is not much adjustment in the trigger before this happens . Personally I ended up getting a Timney trigger and feel it was the best $100 investment anyone could put in a Vanguard .

You might want to read this. There can be a problem with the springs being to heavy and they may need to be replaced. Weatherby service centers appear to do this.
