Remington Model 12 Disassembly Manual

Registered Users do not see the above ad.

I am in need of a disassembly manual or instructions for a .22 pump Remington M12. I've tried the Remington website and they couldn't provide any help, at least that I could find. Anyone know where I can get instructions or a manual?

Thanks for trying, Gil, I appreciate it. I have the parts list from Numrich though. What I need is the instructions or manual for disassembly and reassembly. Here's hoping someone on this site will know where I can get that.

If you go here:

http://www.remington.com/pages/news-...e-manuals.aspx

you can request manuals for obsolete models from Remington. The Model 12 is one they list as available.

Pisgah .................. thanks. I pulled up the site and filled out the form. But there is no "send" button to send it off to them. I printed out the page and have Corporate Headquarters mailing address from their website. Guess I just mail this off then?

Sinbad, last year I replaced the firing pin on a M12. A buddy had an old gunsmithing book that i used for disassembly instructions. If you want, I'll call him and see if I can use it again. If so I'll scan and email you the portion on that old Remington.

Yeah, mail it off. It may take them a couple of weeks, but what they will mail you is a photocopy of the complete original manual.

Sinbad, I called my buddy last night. His wife said he took off for San Antonio and will be gone for 10 days. I'll check when he gets back and try then to get those instructions to you.

Sinbad,

At the link Gil Martin provided, the Remington link for disassembly is titled "Remington 10, 11, 12 Rifle Factory Gunsmith Service Manual". Scroll down midway through the link to where Remington starts, and it is on the second Remington line. The manual is not full of pictures or anything, but the instructions are there. That, coupled with the diagram in Gil's parts link, might be enough to do it right.

Again, here it is: http://stevespages.com/page7b.htm

Good luck!

StretchNM ......... What you pointed out is for the "Nylon" series of bolt action rifles. Mine is an older M12 pump .22 .......... that said, there IS a thread for the Remington M121, which, I believe, is a later model. I printed that out. And thank you so much, one and all. I appreciate all the help. I'll get that old smokepole up and running with all this info. Again, my thanks.

Sinbad, sorry I forgot about you. Do you still need instruction how to disassemble that Model 12?
