jc higgins model 25 doesnt recock


Registered Users do not see the above ad.


This is my first post I have a model 25 jc higgins that belonged to my father it was not feeding shells properly so I took it apart and cleaned the whole gun and now the shells feed just fine but now the gun doesnt recock after firing I have to manualy pull the bolt back eject the good shell and fire the next any help wit this problem would be grately appreciated

Does it have a Buffer behind the bolt , is it properly installed is it unbroken ? Something may be impeding the bolt from making a full cycle !
