I just put a new stock on my M70 and want to bed the action but I don't know where to start. Glass bedding, pillar bedding, both? Any suggestions on bedding kits or where to start?

I would try glassing it first. You can add pillars later, easily enough.

Start with one of the Brownell's products. There are others, but they have it pretty well figured out. Acraglas gel is easy to work with and does a fine job.

+1 on what MikeG said . Brownells Accra Gel and the instructions that come with it , will allow the novice to attain Prefessional results . Read instructions more than once !
