Remove Rubber Grip From S&W "J" Frame ??


Registered Users do not see the above ad.


342 Airlite with Round Butt Rubber Grip
I'm replacing the grips and can't find my owners manual. Anyone tell me how to remove the factory rubber grip, there are no exposed scews. TIA

Those are Hogues. There should have been a small plastic wedge that came with the revolver. The wedge is inserted under the front edge of the grip and the grip pushed off forward.

Use a credit card and stick it along the back strap. Pry the rubber off the stud.
