Llama beavertail grip safety?

Will a beavertail type grip safety designed for a 1911 series 70 or series 80 fit a Llama large frame .45 with minor fitting? I suspect the series 70 type would work (both are available from Brownells). Just wanted to know if anybody’s tried to adapt one of them to the Llama.

Well.... Provided it is a true 1911 pattern gun, then a 1911 is a 1911, is a 1911.

That's just it - by most accounts, the large frame Llama is not 100% parts interchangable with standard 1911s. I can live with it the way it is - just have to grip it more "up under" the existing safety to try to not get "hammer bit" all the time.
