Do I understand correctly that you are worried that gun may have been originally built for blanks only and then converted to live ammo? If that is what you are thinking, don't worry. It would be the other way around, the Security Six you see pictured on that site was originally built for live ammo and converted to blanks only.
And yes, those do look like Pachmayr signature grips.
