Small Pistol Primers Vs. Small Match Pistol Primers

Is there a difference between the two??

Small pistol primer and small "match" pistol primers?

Reason I ask is because i found a place locally that has them finally but they have the "match" type.

I wouldn't see a problem in using match type primers. They are just supposed to be more consistent. Didn't know that such a thing existed for the small pistol size but hey if they are available, give it a try.

They work just fine.I have been in the same boat for a while and have been using Match primers in small pistol and rifle size.

Ditto that. The only difference that I can see using match type primers over standard primers is about $4 per thousand. Unfortunately, I am not the same shooter I was 20 years ago.

I picked them up today... 5 bucks a 100

. I really don't care at the moment, I can't find them anywhere else, picked up 400 since you can only buy 200 per foid card(Illinois thing) and my bud came w/ me. I figured I might pick up another 200 and call it a day, that should hold me through til I can get them for a better price.
