My wife is one of the smartest women I know. She is a very unusual women as she actually bases her decisions on logic and not emotion. She is a workaholic in the first degree. The other day while riding to town together we were carrying on a casual conversation. My wife asked four questions and touched on at least six different subjects, ALL IN ONE SENTENCE! And then she looked at me like, aren't you going to answer my question?

Monty, if I can remember it went something like, "Have you talked to our daughter today, was Shane scheduled to work today, are you going to take Brady to swimming lessons tomorrow, remind me to pick up some rose fertilizer, you need to buy more catfood today, I have a school board meeting tommorow night so I will be late getting home, put the clothes in the dryer if I forget, leave a key out for the cleaning lady and what do you want for fathers day. I may have left something out as my memory isn't what it used to be. She actually works in the same manner. I can do twelve things at once, but only one of them right.

That's pretty good Jodum. Men aren't wired the same way the girls are. I think that's a good thing. Multitasking isn't my strong area either.

Yes, they seem utterly surprised when they interrupt you in the middle of, say, rebuilding a transmission, to discuss which pair of shoes to wear and you aren't paying attention.



That, or basically any task which requires thought is a prime candidate for interruption.....

YES, been there done that. Had to go back to NAPA to see if they could get another seal ring for the FMX tranny in the '69 Mustang after an interuption from the missus.

Now she calls me on my cell phone. It's 50 feet from the house to the shop
