Some of the roles he played in his TV series were very anti-gun, and I stopped watching his programs. I don't consider him a friend of gun owners.

You shouldn't blame an actor for the political motives of his characters.

Daniel Craig (the current James Bond) is quite anti-gun in real life, but that doesn't stop him from taking roles that "glamorize" guns.

Yes, and unless you're a famous actor like Charleston Heston, you do it for the money. If you don't someone else will.

Personally, I'm a staunch supporter of "gun control" - the perfect alignment of the sights while squeezing the trigger.
