A Little Old Lady
Took her car into the service department of a major dealership and asked them to look it over and tell her if anything was wrong with her car.
Management had been putting a boot in the backside of the service folks telling them to sell more service jobs. Wringing their hands in glee and feeling like they had a winning lottery ticket, they went over the car from bumper to bumper.
Out came the estimate and it was a big-money hum-dinger. The car needed brakes, shocks, an exhaust system, a tune-up, the transmission rebuilt, fresh coolant, a radiator flush, the pollution control serviced and a wheel alignment.
The old lady didn't blink an eye..."Do it all" she said. The service boys felt like Christmas had come early. They got right at it and produced a whopping big bill.
When they gave granny the bill she said "I'm not paying this. You go and give it to that fellow in the suit out in the showroom.
"Why would they do that?" they asked, surprised and bewildered.
"Because he sold me that car yesterday and he told me it was in perfect condition, and said it didn't need a thing done to it."
Granny refused to pay and the dealership ate the bill. A true story that just proves that into every life a little justice must fall.
