Idaho Controlled Hunt Draw Results

Draw results are out (elk, deer, pronghorn), IF you can hit the site! A few people at work got their results mid-afternoon, but then the influx of eager electrons has since overwhelmed the site, apparently. I've since been trying to log in, with no luck.

Good luck everyone!

EDIT: Well, I drew the big goose-egg, 2nd year in a row. The F&G site is still crashed, but F&G is taking calls to inform people of their draw results, but I doubt they like that.

I scored my cow tag for Colorado. Probably the last time I'll hunt the old stomping grounds.

Shawn, you're not alone! One of my hunting partners and I applied for a controlled elk hunt in Island Park, a controlled Mule deer buck hunt, an extra antlerless deer in the Panhandle as well as an extra antlerless elk hunt and didn't get any of them either! In fact, drawing odds this year for the hunts we applied to were the worst I've ever seen.

Also put in for 2nd Drawing Moose tag and missed on that as well. I guess there's the possibility of buying a ticket or two and trying for a Super Hunt tag in August.

Yeah, there are a few options left for us unlucky folks, Marshall, but with even longer odds. Leftover tags that people forgot to buy, in the 2nd chance drawing. Open tag hunts, where terrain is not as well known. It may come down to us just setting up camp, and calling it 'deer, bear, wolf, and party camp', instead of 'elk camp'!
