I'm just curious how other Montana hunter's seasons ended up. I've heard both good reports of many smaller bucks coming up and reports of very slow seasons. I know that most of my buddies and I punched a buck's ticket, but with very little success on elk. How'd the rest of you fare?

There was fair to excellent success around the Helena area. Actually better than 2011. Some big bulls and a few nice whitetail and mule deer bucks. Antelope numbers are still down and success was spotty.
