Don't get in to big of a hurry to get shed of those guns!

I believe Winchester is still producing thier 46gr Super X hollowpoint.

I have a Remington MDL 43 in 218 Bee. Fun little gun to shoot. I usually find my ammo at gun shows & smaller gunshops. I'm sure you can find it at various websites as well. I'm not saying it's gonna be cheap; but what is now days.

The Bee is fun to shoot. Pretty good varmit gun for around the house & has taken a turkey or 2.

If you do sell them, don't let them go cheap. I'll guarantee someone out there wants them bad. I'm sure they would do well on gunbroker.com.
.218 bee is rare.

Midway has Winchester ammo in stock, as I write this. I'm sure places like Cabela's, Natchez, Midsouth, Graf and Sons, and others do, too.
I think the lesson here might be: get your firearms advice from somewhere other than the 2 places you got it from in the past.

Winchester is the only company that is loading .218 Bee ammo @ $65 per 50. You can buy .218 Bee brass & reload which would be cheaper. Also if you can't fine .218 Bee Brass then just resize .32-20 brass in a .218 Bee resizing trim to length and load. I also had a couple of Model 43 Winchester rifle in this caliber & they were very fine rifles. At the time I owned them I could buy factory ammo for $7.25 per box of 50 rounds. This was back in the late 1960's. the last time I bought some .218 Bee ammo the cost had increased to around $36 per 50 back in the late 1980's.

Several dealers in the area carry 218 Bee ammo in there stores. Course they carry other odd chambering’s so they tend to have large cliental. One sells regular retail pricing while the other discounts his prices a little. About the only retailer with a better selection is Cabelas'. They usually have minimum of two different company’s ammo for your choice. Common calibers will have many manufacturers for selections.

The .218 Bee is a sweet little caliber, but very pricey to shoot. Seeing as you don't want to reload you might be better off selling these rifles but as stated above, don't just give them away. I bought a Marlin .218 Bee five years ago for $300. I could probably double my money on it now if I wanted to sell it, but I don't. It's a very accurate little gun and likely to just go up in value.
