Only if you live in a place where lead is NOT allowed in your bullets. LeverEvolution is trying to keep up with the Kalifornication laws on no-lead bullets!

Hornady is calling their new bullets "MonoFlex" bullets.

The new MonoFlex bullet load for the .308ME starts out at 2800 FPS and by their numbers flies a tad flatter than the 160gr FTX. I may try a box to see if they are as accurate in my .308MX as the 160s, although I'd still prefer the tad heavier 160, I think.

Looks like the 160 is as fast as the 140. Seems like the 140 should be at least 100-150fps faster.

It's made of guilding metal, a 95% copper, 5% zinc mix IIRC.
