I got a new Rossi 30-30 lever action rifle yesterday. First rifle. I noticed some metal chipping/deterioration inside the chamber, on what appears to be the butt-end of the barrel. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is common on brand new rifles. Or if anyone has noticed this on their Rossi rifle. Based on some new pistols I've purchased this seems very unusual. I also noticed the trigger seems loose as well and has some side-to-side play. None of my pistols have this problem.
