Question What's up with the Marlin Owner's Forum?
Anybody have any idea what in the Sam Hill is going on with the Marlin Owner's Forums? I tried to log on a bit ago and this came up; says the Domain Registration has expired (???) What the heck!!

Came back on for awhile,Called 358 up in PA it was doing the same there.Told him itd come back on here.He said great. I made a few posts checked my Email and when I went back it was gone againSure liked it better the old way.Guess because Id figured it out.Now here I am joining up on here.Glad to see some Ol buddys here though.But Im lost again boys!!!Cant even figger out how to get a pic up on here.guess Ill go out and try to call a fox up or something.You guys take care. Flush your DNS records and re-register ....

I know, I know... probably not a helpful suggestion for most folks here

What's a DNS?

Only thing I can think of is like DNR... "Do Not Salvage", "Do Not Save"...

DNS = Domain Name Service
That's what translates between the names we use to refer to webistes (like "shootersforum.com"), and the numbers computers use to refer to them (like 192.168.0.0).

Your computer stores a cross-refernce list, which it gets from systems on the net hose job it is to keep the 'master list' cross-reference. You can force your machine to go ask the master list machines for an address by removing your machine's cross-reference.
