Winchester model 88
I am having trouble finding Date of mfg. on a Winchester model 88-308 cal. It has all the late features like pressed checkering on the stock and late receiver cuts and late model grip cap . Looks like a hand stamped H prefix with serial number H 160xxxA, the info I have found says maybe pre 64 but that does not match the late features.
Could anyone help me with the MFG date on this rifle please?
