My 1894 is shotting about 6" to the right at 50 yards and I would like to make an adjustment to get my new baby on target. I've searched and search and cannot find any info on how to adjust the front sight. Do I just tap the front sight over to make the adjustment?

Any help is appreciated.

If your front sight is in a dove tail then yes you can move it by tapping it with a punch and hammer. They make tools for moving the front sights also. Your factory rear sight may be dovetailed and it could be moved. It is a little more sturdy than the front and may be easier to move.

I get the directions mixed up but I think the front moves opposite the direction you want the POI to move.
