Found 2 Marlin rifles in my mom's closet.
So 6 months back I'm at my mom's house talking about picking up a new rifle and she mentions she has 2 of my father's tucked away in her closet. She keeps forgetting to pull them down over the next 6 months so by chance today I get the morning off work so I head over and pull them out.
Code:
Glenfield Mod. 25 The Marlin Firearms Co.
North Haven. Conn., USA
CAL 22 S-L-LR. 20741XXX
Code:
The Marlin Firearms Co. Est. 1870 Micro Groove Barrel Mod. 336
North Haven. Conn. U.S.A. Cal. 30-30 Win

Looks like I've got a 1973 Model 336 .30-30 lever action and a 1980 Model 25 .22 S-L-LR bolt action.
The glass is an All-Pro 4 x 32.
They're in desperate need of a cleaning, I don't think they've been fired in the last 15 years.
