Super photo and nice rooster. Here in the UK the black cockers are becoming very popular and we have three on my own shoot. Amazes me how they manage to get a big cock bird in the mouth never mind carry it. I dropped a big cock pheasant back into a small wooded area yesterday and although my viszla could smell something in a big patch of bramble thorn and stinging nettles, he refused to go in. Along came my friends little black cocker and no hesitation, straight in and no cock pheasant but two rabbits made a very fast exit.
