The old boys on the Muzzleloading Forum swear by the Maine Powder House.

Purchasing blackpowder

You may try Track of the Wolf. They sell it and will ship it to you, but you have to buy it in twenty-five pound quanities. However, you can mix 2F, 3F Goex, Swiss or what-ever.

If you are close to one of the distributors you can stop by and buy directly. This will save you the shipping and Haz Mat charges and you can buy any amount you want, up to 50 pounds. On the way back from California I stopped by Powder, Inc. Picked up 11 pounds of Goex for $12 per pound. You can also buy real black powder at Bass Pro Shops. Other than yhat, mail order from one of the sites mentioned above.

Blackpowder is no longer widely available. This is because DOT and the BATF reclassified BP as a class A explosive. Another vote for Powder, Inc is a good company to order from. You will have to pay a hazmat fee.

Being from the Netherlands, I doubt seriously if you will find any supplier willing to ship the bp to you from the states. Best I can advise is to shop around on the internet in your country or surrounding areas for a dealer. Good luck in your search and welcome to the board. We enjoy hearing from folks in other countries.
