North Carolina NRA License plate

Registered Users do not see the above ad.

Show Your Pride With an NRA License Plate! In August of 2005, Governor Mike Easley (D) signed into law Senate Bill 464, which established a National Rifle Association license plate for North Carolina motor vehicles. Before the plates will become a reality, we need 300 North Carolinians to commit to purchasing them. While we currently have over 200 members signed up we still need more signatures. Don't make your fellow members wait any longer, call the number listed below and find out how you too can get you own NRA license plate today. This is a great way for members to show their support for our Second Amendment rights and the NRA. Please contact the NRA Western North Carolina Field Representative, Doug Merrill, at (828) 628-0410, for more information on obtaining an NRA plate. You will need to submit a check for $10.00 for a standard plate, or $40.00 for a personalized plate, in addition to filling out an application.

You'll need a bumper sticker to go beside the plate that reads something like......THIS VEHICLE PROBABLY HAS AT LEAST ONE FIREARM INSIDE, PLEASE BREAK IN AND STEAL IT!..........

I've been an NRA member for over 30 years but I'm not going to advertise to would be theives that all they have to do is follow me to a store, wait till I go in for a jug of milk, then smash my truck window in search of my gun.
Even though my firearm is on my belt in the store, the crooks don't know that. And I still have a busted window. No thanks..........B.

I've had an NRA sticker on my truck for years and have not once been broken into. But of course as BDavis correctly stated the piece should be on your person but there is also a backup in the truck. Down here in Texico I would have expected to be broken into, no not really! That is what alarms are designed for.

A gun in hand is worth 2 in the truck, huh? 22 short if I lived in NC I would add my name to your plate list. Oh but for good men to stand by and do nothing, and so it goes! We wait to be herded!

Kinda defeats the purpose of concealed carry ?
Yes, I do have an NRA and an NYSRPA sticker on my car. I guess I'm confused.

Everett,
Luckily we've all signed up under aliases and with incorrect locations, huh?

Gun Nuts are just that, Gun Nuts but we are not Looney Tunes as some of them think. We are not the ones that go around shooting up high schools, college campuses and shopping malls. Killing our wives, friends and even our own children because we have some type of mental disorder or lack of facilities at some point.
That's not something that should even be said lightly at this time, as I am sure there are many watching these forums.
