Anybody have any experience with the T/C Encore Pro-Hunters? How do they feel and how do they shoot? The stock looks like it would be really helpful with the higher recoiling cartridges.
I have one in 25-06 and I love it! I can put 10 shots inside the 10 ring all day long without heat affecting it at all. Also, no recoil at all in this caliber.
I have the camo/stainless in the 30tc caliber and I love it so far. It's very comfortable to shoot, very accurate and not much recoil. The barrel stays cool no matter what...I can't seem to make the thing get hot. I use to have a 25-06 in the regular encore, but sold it to get this one. I like the upgrades. Amazing gun!
I bought the Pro Hunter Muzzleloader last year. I love it. My previous muzzleloader was a basic starter kit gun. When I first shot the Pro Hunter I couldn't believe how much more solid it felt to shoot. The stock really helps the recoil. With my previous gun my shoulder was about dead after shooting at the range for a few hour. With the Pro Hunter I think I could have shot it all day without my shoulder getting too sore.
