I have an 83 vintage 94 that I'm wanting to scope. Which is the best side mount to use? I'm leaning toward the Kwik-Site KSW94. Does anyone have any experience with this mount good or bad?

I wouldn't mount a scope on a top eject '94. I'd have a peep sight intalled instead, but you'll need to have it drilled & taped. I've seen a few Model 94s that were drilled & tapped on the barrel inwhich you would need a long eye relief pistol scope.

The Kwik-Site ues the existing holes on the side of the receiver. I've considered a peep, but I have a couple of nice scopes lying around that need to be put to use.

I've used the Weaver and the Williams side mounts, I've never tried the Kwik-Site. The Williams is able to use different height rings and is somewhat windage adjustable. Never had an issue with either of these brands.

Received the Kwik -Site mount today. It's a well made product for the money. Installed an old, one of the good ones Bushnell Banner 3-9X33mm on the 94 and it looks good in the kwik-site mount.
